FTTH

FTTH (fiber to the home or fiber all the way to the home) refers to the laying of optical fibers from data centers directly into the subscriber's home.

An important component is FITH (English: Fiber In The Home), which means the fiber optic network within the house. Frequently more bend-resistant fibers are used there, which allow laying in existing pipes or channels.
